Who hasn’t wished at some point that their life could have its very own soundtrack? I make playlists constantly, so here I’m sharing a few of my favorites. It’s a morning playlist, a workout playlist, a massive playlist of love songs, and the playlist I listen to in the background when I work. These are only a few — I have over 20 personally curated playlists saved — but I’ll be sharing more every month.

Playlist #1: Morning

In the morning, we all need some umph. Here’s mine for you. It’s called DAILY because at one time I listened to this playlist every. single. morning. Now I pop it on once in a while and it feels like a hug to start my day.

Playlist #2: Workout

As it says, this one is for workouts — high-energy music loading …

This playlist is best for me while I’m outdoors or at a gym because it keeps me motivated and not worried about the looky-loos around me.

Playlist #3: Love Songs

We all need this, all the time. Classics, new songs, sultry, lovely. It’s 457 songs, y’all. Over 24 hours of music.

Playlist #4: From the Lab – Music to Write/Edit To

Writers go internal when they create, and some of us, not-so-silently. Our sonic backdrop needs to be chill - encouraging, not too invigorating, but transportive and inspiring. When I’m not transcribing an interview —and especially while I’m editing — I like having music playing in the background.
